Are people judging your book by it's cover?

According to Albert Mehrabian over 80% of our communication is non-verbal; with 55% of that being attributed to body language. This means that over half of our communication is being spoken before we even get a chance to open our mouths! Though it may be tough to acknowledge essentially, it is in our human nature to judge a book by it's cover.
That's why you should use your wardrobe as a tool to communicate and to make connections with others. Fashion has a funny way of bringing people together. In the world of business, a fashionable salesman can mean the difference between making the sale--and not making the sale.
Why do you suppose people typically try to dress their best when attending an interview or even a court date? They are trying to make a positive impression! They understand how powerful their non-verbal communication can be when it comes to swaying influence.
Make a positive impression each time you step out. You do not have to be going anywhere "special" to look nice. Consider "dressing yourself up" another self-care activity. Your style and wardrobe are part of your personal brand--they are part of who you are. You deserve to look and feel great!
